Held for the first time during Victor Gold Rush Days—Colorado’s longest-running festival—the Victor Pack Burro Race offers a short but challenging 7.3-mile course through the historic Cripple Creek and Victor Mining District. Starting and finishing on Victor Avenue, the course includes 1,100 feet of elevation gain, uneven terrain, and scenic views past historic mine sites. Race begins at 12:00 p.m., with bib pickup and registration starting at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to review the course map due to intersecting trails and roads.
