PACK BURRO RACING
Held in the heart of the historic Cripple Creek and Victor Mining District and this year for the first time during the Victor Gold Rush Days, the oldest continuously held festival in Colorado, the Victor Pack Burro Race offers a short but challenging day of Pack Burro Racing.

MINING GAMES
This year’s competition features a thrilling lineup of traditional mining skills, including Co-ed Jack Leg Drilling, Co-ed Hand Steel Drilling, and Men's and Women’s Team Mucking. These high-energy events celebrate the strength, skill, and teamwork that defined Victor’s rich mining heritage.

VINTAGE BASEBALL GAMES
Players and volunteers recreate authentic teams, wear period uniforms, and follow early rules of the game. Beyond the field, a full cast of civilian roles—umpires, reporters, suffragists, and more—help bring the 1800s to life for spectators

BLACKSMITH DEMOS
experience live blacksmithing demonstrations that showcase the traditional techniques of metalworking. These demonstrations take place in the museum's authentic blacksmith shop, complete with a functioning forge, hammer, and anvil.
